The Senior Analytics Engineer transforms curated data into businessready analytical assets, including semantic models, dashboards, and data marts. This role bridges business requirements and technical data models to deliver trusted metrics, governed datasets, and reliable analytics solutions. The engineer operates with significant autonomy and partners closely with stakeholders across data, analytics, and business teams.
What you'll do:
- Transform curated datasets into BIready semantic models, dashboards, and analytics marts.
- Translate business requirements into governed data models and welldefined metrics.
- Define and document metric logic, data lineage, and semantic layer standards.
- Maintain and support dashboards and analytics products with defined servicelevel expectations.
- Design, develop, and deploy data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform.
- Build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines supporting analytics and reporting use cases.
- Apply Lakehouse and data warehousing patterns such as Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying analytics and data solutions on the Databricks platform.
- Proficiency in Python, including PySpark, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, identity and access management, and networking services.
- Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Handson experience building and maintaining ETL and ELT pipelines.
- Experience using Gitbased version control and CI/CD practices for data deployments.
- Understanding of data governance concepts, including Unity Catalog fundamentals such as catalogs, schemas, tables, and permission models.
