Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Senior Developer and Technical Lead with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce development (CloudCraze or Lightning). This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, and leading end-to-end Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations, while also mentoring junior developers and collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams., Technical Leadership

Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce (CloudCraze / Lightning) solutions.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce Commerce projects.

Provide technical oversight and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality delivery.
Solution Development

Customize and extend Salesforce B2B Commerce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.

Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.

Configure data models, product catalogs, pricing rules, order management, and checkout processes.
Project Delivery

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Ensure all deliverables comply with security, performance, and scalability standards.
Team Mentorship

Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance on Salesforce best practices.

Facilitate knowledge sharing within the technical team.
Continuous Improvement

Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, releases, and industry best practices.

Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing Salesforce Commerce solutions.
Requirements
- A Bachelorâs degree, preferably in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems. Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce development (CloudCraze or Lightning B2B Commerce).

Proven experience leading technical teams and owning solution design.

Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, workflows, process automation, and custom objects.

Deep understanding of B2B eCommerce processes (catalogs, carts, pricing, orders, and checkout).

Strong experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, CRM, and external systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Salesforce certifications: B2B Commerce Developer, Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect, or Technical Architect (CTA track a plus).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Copado).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
