Technician, Information Technology

We are growing and looking to hire our first internal help desk professional to support our expanding Cameron, LA office., * Provide insightful advice and friendly, hands-on technical support to VG employees

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues and offer solutions to get employees up and running again
• Triage requests accordingly to our 3rd party IT provider
• Teach and train employees on new applications or hardware as requested
• Provide support for on-boarding and off-boarding new and departing employees

Do you have experience in Task prioritization?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * 2 or more years of experience as a help desk support technician in a macOS environment (Ideally, you have been a Genius at an Apple Store!)

• High school degree; additional certification in Apple products and devices preferred
• Excellent prioritization skills and ability to make decisions quickly
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Success in team environments, demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative
• Comprehensive understanding of operating systems, including macOS and Windows
