Job description
- As a Security Engineer, you will be part of the company's transformation initiative aimed at achieving compliance with the NIS2 directive, within the IT department, working closely with the Infrastructure, CDS and security architect teams.
- You are a key player in the technical implementation of cybersecurity measures, involved in asset inventory projects, system hardening and IT environment security, while supporting projects in the concrete implementation of security requirements defined by cybersecurity architecture and governance.
- Under the guidance of the security architect and in accordance with the cybersecurity roadmap and NIS2, you will contribute to translating security requirements into technical configurations, effective controls, and measurable operational practices.
- Your role is essential to ensuring that the measures defined strategically and architecturally are realistic, deployed, and maintained in operational environments.
YOUR MISSIONS :
- contribute to the inventory of IT assets (systems, applications, services, infrastructure components), in line with NIS2 requirements and risk management needs;
- implement and maintain hardening measures on environments (systems, networks, identities, endpoints, cloud platforms) according to defined standards and best practices;
- to support project teams in integrating technical security requirements (Security by design) from the design and implementation phases;
- to support the security architect in the operational implementation of security architectures and solution choices;
- configure and operate technical security mechanisms: patch management, configuration control, logging, security monitoring, vulnerability management, IAM controls;
- analyze the identified technical gaps (audits, risk assessments, security reviews) and contribute to their remediation;
- participate in the production of the technical evidence required for NIS2 compliance (configurations, procedures, traces, technical reports);
- collaborate closely with the Infrastructure and CDS teams as a technical security reference point.
Requirements
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or cybersecurity, with significant experience in technical roles (systems, networks, security);
- You have a good command of operational IT environments: systems, networks, directories and identities, endpoints, cloud platforms and monitoring tools;
- You have concrete experience in securing and hardening IT environments;
- you understand the principles of cybersecurity and the associated regulatory requirements, particularly in a NIS2 context;
- You are able to work on cross-functional projects, interacting with architects, project managers and operational teams;
- Rigorous and pragmatic, you are solution-oriented and focused on effective implementation;
- Possessing a good team spirit, you know how to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical profiles.
