Job description

As IT Support Specialist ( M/F/D ) you play a key role in ensuring the stability , efficiency and reliability of the IT workplace environment within LYNX.

As part of an international IT environment, you are responsible for providing first and second-line support to employees across multiple locations. You ensure that hardware, software, and workplace systems function smoothly and that incidents and service requests are resolved efficiently and professionally.

Your focus is to deliver high-quality IT support while continuously improving workplace processes, documentation, and system reliability. You combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with a proactive and service-oriented mindset, helping employees stay productive in a fast-paced and international environment.

What you'll do

IT Support & Incident Management: Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues both on-site and remotely.

Ticket & Service Request Handling: Manage and process service requests and incidents through the ticketing system, ensuring proper prioritisation, tracking, and timely resolution.

Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues independently or escalate them to external vendors or internal specialists when required.

Workplace & Device Management: Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, and peripherals.

IT Asset Management: Maintain and manage IT assets, including inventory tracking and lifecycle management.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Ensure proper documentation of incidents, solutions, and system configurations in internal knowledge bases.

Infrastructure Administration: Perform basic administration of client-server infrastructure, including Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.

Process Standardization: Contribute to the standardization and optimization of workplace setups and IT processes.

Hardware & Software Procurement: Assist in evaluating and procuring IT hardware and software solutions.

Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to other IT team members, including Application Managers and other stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues and proactively propose improvements to systems, processes, and support workflows.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, You are a proactive and service-oriented IT professional who enjoys solving technical issues and supporting colleagues in their daily work. You combine strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills and a structured way of working.

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or End-User Support
  • You have strong knowledge of Windows-based environments and endpoint management
  • You have experience working with ticketing systems and incident management processes
  • You are able to troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network-related issues
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in English; German is considered a strong advantage, * Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or mobile device management tools
  • Exposure to ITIL processes or certifications
  • Experience in financial services or fast-paced environments
