Job description

As the Transformation Lead Iberia Market, you will be the strategic engine driving change across the region. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will act as a bridge between high-level strategy and operational reality. Your role is focused on being a key advisor to the Country Manager and a strategic partner to Local Functional Managers, helping them navigate transitions, modernize their departments, and align with the regional Transformation roadmap. You will drive digital adoption and process improvement, ensuring that the Iberia Market remains competitive, efficient, and agile while achieving its specific market goals.

Day to day:

  • Strategic Support to Country Manager: Provide the Country Manager with a consolidated view of the transformation portfolio, offering data-driven insights and tactical recommendations to ensure Iberia Market goals are met.
  • Functional Partnership & Advisory: Act as a "Transformation Partner" for local department heads (Sales, Risk, Finance, Ops). Support them in identifying inefficiencies and implementing localized solutions that align with the broader corporate strategy.
  • Drive Key Strategic Initiatives: Lead or coordinate directly big and complex strategic multi-functional initiatives when required. You will take ownership of high-impact projects, ensuring cross-departmental collaboration and successful execution from inception to completion.
  • Digital Transformation: Orchestrate the transition from analogue to digital ways of doing business, ensuring that global digital tools are effectively integrated into local functional workflows within the Iberia Market.
  • Operational Excellence: Analyze local processes to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions following Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This includes locally supporting global or regional projects and proactively contributing to DLL's global Operational Excellence community by sharing best practices and insights from the Iberia Market.
  • Culture of Innovation & Champions Network: Build, train, and energize a cross-functional team of Innovation Champions. You will motivate representatives from each functional domain to act as local advocates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and experimental thinking.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or Engineering.

  • Languages: Native-level Spanish and Fluent English. Portuguese desirable.
  • Experience: 5+ years in project management, business transformation, or internal consulting, with a strong focus on leading multi-functional projects.
  • Influence & Diplomacy: Proven ability to engage and influence functional managers and teams without direct hierarchical authority (leading by influence).
  • Strategic Execution: Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating high-complexity, large-scale initiatives involving multiple business domains.
  • Agile Mindset: Familiarity with Scaled Agile Frameworks (Simplify@Scale / Spotify model) and digital-first environments.
  • Leadership & Coaching: Ability to motivate and energize informal teams (Champions) and lead through inspiration rather than mandate.
  • Analytical & Lean Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Continuous improvement (CI) expertise, as well as deep Lean knowledge and practice, are highly valued, with the ability to identify process gaps and implement data-backed solutions.
