Job description
From day one, you get the space to explore, experiment, and grow. You will work on machine-learning and computer-vision models that power our products in the field. And because we trust your technical judgment, you'll be able to take the lead on model-level decisions within your projects.
You'll also enjoy:
- Hands-on innovation - You get to test, compare, and adopt the latest AI/ML tools, frameworks, and techniques.
- Impactful work - The models you build help customers operate smarter, safer, and more efficiently.
- A collaborative environment - You work side-by-side with software and cloud engineers to bring your models into production.
- Room to grow - We support your development through knowledge-sharing sessions, documentation standards, and access to strong internal expertise.
- Modern tooling - We offer access to compute resources, datasets, test environments, and a full modern ML toolchain.
What you'll be doing
Your work is broad, meaningful, and varied. You will:
- Design, train, validate, and optimize ML and computer-vision models.
- Build scalable training and evaluation pipelines that meet ISO and internal quality standards.
- Integrate models into cloud or edge production systems together with our engineering teams.
- Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and keep our models reliable.
- Explore new technologies and identify ways to improve our workflows.
- Contribute to documentation, reviews, and team learning., Authority
- Authorized to make model-level technical decisions within project boundaries.
- Access to compute resources, datasets, internal documentation, and test environments.
- May propose adoption of new technologies and methods.
Complexity
This role handles multidimensional challenges involving real-world data variability, emerging technologies, system integrations, and performance trade-offs. Continuous exploration of cutting-edge AI/ML methods adds additional technical complexity.
Independence
Works autonomously within defined project scopes and is responsible for high-quality technical output. Escalates major risks or blockers as needed and complies with ISO and security rules.
Risk Impact
High. Incorrect models or flawed evaluation procedures may impact operational performance, customer deliverables, or system reliability. Thorough documentation, validation, and testing are essential.
Why work for CERTUS?
Because here, your work doesn't stay on a whiteboard. It becomes part of real products used in real environments. And while the challenges can be complex, you'll never face them alone. You'll be supported, trusted, and encouraged to experiment, as long as you keep quality and safety in mind.
If you love turning data into value, working with modern technology, and continuously leveling up your AI skills, we'd love to hear from you.
