Job description
The Data Officer plays a key role in delivering a high-quality, professional data support across the organisation. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and usability of organisational data as directed by the Business Manager and the Director.
- Monitor and triage various incoming communication channels and respond or reroute queries appropriately
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and up-to-date data entry
- Act as a point of contact for internal data-related queries, and provide clear, practical guidance on data handling and best practices (focusing on explanation and support rather than enforcement)
- Maintain and update data privacy records (photo & mailing permissions, gift aid)
- Coordinate the collection and updating of tutor registers and attendance records, tracking missing or incomplete data and follow up with relevant stakeholders
- Produce reports on attendance data as required
- Perform regular "data cleanses" to remove duplicates and fix formatting errors, improving overall data quality and structure
- Working with the deputy Director and Director to produce data reports to support the annual survey of activity and ongoing monitoring against targets
Pay: £24,666.00 per year
