Job description
- Partner directly with enterprise clients to understand complex planning needs and constraints
- Design and improve large-scale optimisation algorithms for real-world applications
- Evolve and extend an existing production system using JavaScript and Rust
- Prototype and introduce AI/ML approaches into optimisation workflows
- Contribute to solving a highly complex combinatorial optimisation problem
Requirements
- Strong grounding in algorithms and mathematics background
- Experience building or improving complex system logic or optimisation engines
- Comfortable in JavaScript and/or Rust (or happy to learn quickly)
- Confident in client-facing environments - able to extract requirements and challenge assumptions
