Job description
We are seeking a National Manager (Senior Director) to lead a high-performing software engineering and product delivery team responsible for designing, developing, integrating, customizing, and maintaining core treasury systems and platforms. This role holds end-to-end accountability for delivering key technology initiatives that support treasury business objectives, ensuring solutions meet requirements, are scalable, and delivered on time.
As the Data & Technology Domain Officer (TDO) for Treasury, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams and business leaders across North America to define current and future treasury technology needs, develop a strategic technology roadmap, and drive prioritized changes. You will champion innovation by initiating projects and advocating for new applications, cloud technologies, and advanced capabilities such as machine learning and Generative AI to enhance treasury operations and customer experience.
By fostering engineering excellence, operational rigor, and a culture of continuous improvement, you will ensure the Treasury Technology organization delivers scalable, secure, and highly available solutions that meet evolving business demands.
What You'll Be Doing
Leadership and Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Technology Strategy and Execution

Develop and implement a strategic technology roadmap for the Treasury domain.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technological solutions.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation.
Self-Service and Automation

Lead initiatives to enable self-service capabilities and automation across supported technology areas.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiency.

Promote adoption of self-service tools to empower employees.
Vendor Management and Partnerships

Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to align with organizational goals.

Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and foster value-added partnerships.
Requirements
The Data & Technology group at Toyota Financial Services enables seamless, straight-through processing of financial and commercial transactions with a broad range of counterparties, including banks, dealers, consumers, vendors, tax authorities, and subsidiaries across North America., + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

15+ years of experience in Treasury Technology, with strong expertise in Treasury Management Systems (preferably WallStreet Suite, FiS), Treasury Valuation Systems (preferably Calypso), and SWIFT.

10+ years of experience designing and developing custom applications end-to-end using Java, Python, ASP.NET, SQL, C#, and XML.

5+ years of experience with banking industry payment formats, including MT100 series, NACHA, and 20022.xml standards.

Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure.
