Job description

Note: The client is open to considering candidates who can travel to the client location once a month for one week. All travel-related expenses will be covered by the client., A legacy SAS Administrator on Linux (typically SAS 9.4) is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring SAS application server tiers (Metadata, Compute, Mid-tier) on Linux environments.

Requirements

OS: Proficient in Linux (Red Hat/RHEL preferred), including shell scripting.

SAS: Strong knowledge of SAS 9.4 Intelligence Platform (Metadata server, Workspace server, Stored Process server).

Tools: SAS Management Console (SMC), SAS Enterprise Guide, LSF (SAS Grid Manager).

Storage/DB: Understanding of storage technologies (NAS/SAN/GPFS) and SAS/ACCESS engines (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata)., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in SAS Platform Administration.
  • SAS Certified Professional - Platform Administrator.
