Job description
As a General Manager at SAS, you will lead the overall operation and financial performance of a B&I account with breakfast, lunch, and catering services. This role oversees multiple dining service departments across assigned locations, ensuring high-quality service, operational efficiency, and achievement of financial goals., * Oversee daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring service and operational standards are consistently met
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and food safety standards
- Lead, hire, train, and develop management teams
- Conduct regular audits to maintain quality, sanitation, and operational excellence
- Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving and proactive leadership
- Lead management meetings and support team alignment on goals and priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of foodservice management experience, including multi-unit oversight
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility
- Experience in retail and cash-based food operations
- Knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation, and cost controls
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred, Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
