Job description
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and work from our Hamilton, NJ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work onsite 100% M-F.
You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and QA teams within an Agile environment, delivering secure, compliant, and high-performance software. In this role, you will also help guide technical direction, mentor junior developers, and contribute to broader platform modernization efforts across Sparta Systems., * Build scalable, reusable Salesforce and/or Java solutions in a collaborative Scrum team environment following Agile.
- Deliver high quality Salesforce manage packages and solutions to customers.
- Design, develop, and maintain AI applications and components using Salesforce Apex, Agentforce, and Datacloud.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design for new Salesforce-based features and integrations.
- Integrate Salesforce functionalities with AWS hosted backend systems, APIs, and data services where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with Offering Managers, Quality Engineers, Architects, Performance Engineers, and Technical Writers cross-functionally to define requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
- Support CI/CD workflows, automation processes, and version control best practices using GitHub.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues, driving root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes, performance, and system scalability.
Requirements
- 1 year hands-on software development experience, with strong proficiency in Java, Python, and/or SalesforceDX
- Experience working with software development tools and methodologies (Github, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, Co-Pilot).

- Experience working with SFDX methodologies and SF CLI tools
- You've worked collaboratively in a team to deliver a feature through an Agile SDLC
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, technology, or related degree.
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with AWS cloud services (such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS, or equivalent).
- Experience working as a Salesforce ISV and creating packages
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and modern web service development (REST APIs).
- Experience building microservices or cloud-native enterprise SaaS products.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/React, or other complementary UI languages.
- SF Lightning Web Components development
- Understanding of system observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and architectural thinking.
- Ability to influence engineering direction and elevate team technical capability.
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern software development.
Benefits & conditions
The annual base salary range for this position is $76,800 - $95,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
