Lead Software Engineer

• 7+ years of experience designing, building, and delivering production software applications
• Strong background in system design, architecture, and technical leadership within engineering teams
• Experience mentoring developers or serving as a technical lead
• Proficiency in backend or full-stack development (Java and SQL strongly preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Java 8+ environments, with exposure to newer Java versions such as Java 26
• Experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, and working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Familiarity with technologies such as Spring Boot, Oracle Database, CockroachDB, JBoss, JavaScript, Linux, Containers, Rancher, Ansible, or Bamboo
• Experience working in Agile development environments with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a collaborative setting
