Job description
- Design, build, and ship agentic workflows that replace manual processes across Frontier, Forge, and Foundations.
- Build and maintain dashboards and developer surfaces that aggregate agentic signals for Content pillar leads, including new modules, integrations, and UI iterations.
- Prototype AI-native content tools rapidly and make data-driven decisions to continue or sunset efforts.
- Discover, evaluate, and integrate external and internal AI build tooling into development workflows.
- Build validation harnesses, evaluation pipelines, and supervised handoff (on-the-loop) workflows for production agents.
- Extend the Content Pod Manager registry and reporting infrastructure with pillar-specific customizations and leadership reporting surfaces.
- Extend shared knowledge-layer capabilities, integrate new data sources, and adapt to evolving search and retrieval infrastructure.
- Use and create AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery as a core workflow practice.
- Partner with pod leads, pillar stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to define requirements, scope prototypes, and iterate on deliverables.
- Document systems, APIs, and architectural decisions for effective handoff post-delivery.
Requirements
We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join our dynamic Agentic Content Systems team within RL Content. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building AI-native tooling, agentic workflows, developer surfaces, and validation infrastructure and a proven ability to design, ship, and iterate production-grade systems that replace manual processes and accelerate delivery., * Proficiency in software engineering with experience in AI-enabled systems, services, and tooling.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and requirements to development, testing, and delivery.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement system changes to resolve problems.
- Experience building dashboards, developer surfaces, or internal tooling for engineering users or business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and mentor peers with constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software fundamentals and familiarity with development tools and languages such as SQL or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI agent frameworks, evaluation pipelines, or human-in-the-loop validation systems.
- Background in building knowledge-layer systems, search, or retrieval integrations.
