Job description

The Senior Vice President of Regulatory Compliance and Fulfillment Support Services helps facilitate a compliance program that enables innovation while ensuring regulatory and legal adherence, embedding compliance into the business strategy to deliver client centric, compliant solutions.

Under the direction of the Director, the Senior Vice President helps maintain the effectiveness of the compliance program by monitoring regulatory developments, supporting business growth, and ensuring compliance considerations keep pace with product expansion. The Senior Vice President contributes to leadership visibility by supporting reporting and analysis related to program effectiveness, emerging risk trends, and regulatory challenges.

Beyond core compliance responsibilities, the Senior Vice President serves as a business partner to internal stakeholders, collaborating to develop solutions that satisfy both regulatory requirements and client needs. This role requires a balanced approach to risk management, applying practical, scalable solutions that support innovation while upholding regulatory integrity.

This position operates within a matrix reporting structure, with direct accountability to the Director, Regulatory Compliance & Fulfillment Support Services within the Legal organization, reporting through the Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel. The role also provides ongoing support to the Director, Regulatory Compliance & Fulfillment Support Services, aligned to the Senior Managing Director of Residential New Originations and Fulfillment Services, ensuring effective coordination and execution of regulatory compliance initiatives across business operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborates cross functionally with key partners, including Legal (internal and external), Risk, Accounting, Human Resources, and Internal Audit, to align regulatory compliance strategies with business objectives.

  • Monitors federal and state regulatory developments and supports the proactive enhancement of compliance programs to address emerging risks and regulatory changes.

  • Supports the design and implementation of scalable compliance solutions to accommodate business growth, product expansion, and operational complexity.

  • Partners with lines of business to ensure regulatory compliance requirements are integrated throughout the product development and implementation lifecycle.

  • Develops, maintains, and oversees procedures and process documentation specific to licensed lines of business, ensuring documentation accurately reflects regulatory requirements, licensing conditions, and supervisory expectations, and is consistently applied across regulated activities.

  • Reviews, advises on, and supports the negotiation of contracts, terms, and regulatory clauses in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives.

  • Supports the corporate licensing program, ensuring compliance with all federal and state requirements for applicable lines of business and licensed activities.

  • Maintains the company Licenses and Registrations Policy, ensuring ongoing accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory expectations.

  • May represent the organization by attending relevant conferences, seminars, and industry forums to remain informed of regulatory changes and emerging industry trends.

  • Initiates, supports, and participates in special projects and ad hoc assignments as directed to advance compliance objectives and business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.

  • Minimum of 12+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in a VP level role or external equivalent.

  • Progressive leadership experience in regulatory compliance, legal, and/or risk management within the mortgage, financial services, or a similarly regulated industry, with demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance management frameworks preferred

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex regulatory concepts and effectively tailor messaging for executive leadership, operational teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to author, maintain, and manage procedural documentation for licensed lines of business, including experience with documentation governance, version control, regulatory traceability, and audit ready practices in a regulated environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret, evaluate, and manage contractual terms and regulatory clauses, with experience partnering with Legal to assess compliance risk and support sound business decision making.

  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, inspire, and motivate individuals to achieve organizational and compliance objectives.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management capabilities, including the ability to manage competing priorities and execute multiple initiatives concurrently.

  • Demonstrated executive level integrity, sound business judgment, and a commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and professional standards.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including strong working knowledge of Excel.

  • Reliable, professional, and accountable, with a consistent record of punctuality, dependability, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Benefits & conditions

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$125,000.00 - $150,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
