Job description

KMS has an exciting opportunity for an Azure Developer to provide information technology and knowledge management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and help provide the US Navy with cutting edge undersea warfare technology. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine's Activity Command Information Officer (ACIO)., Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

  • Contribute to the design, configuration, development, deployment, and maintenance of multiple Microsoft technologies in line with the design authorities and agile change forums.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing Power Platform & Dynamics 365 solutions based on established patterns and best practices - working with development teams as well as directly with internal customers and providing advice as required.
  • Help develop and nurture the low-code capability throughout the organization to support the growing use of Power Platform & Dynamics 365 by being a key member of the center of excellence applying appropriate training, governance, and controls.
  • Support in managing a backlog of requests for Power Platform & Dynamics 365 changes coming from both Product Managers and internal teams.
  • Adherence to all applicable compliance standards and best practices., The typical workday is eight hours in length. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. Attendance at prescheduled mandatory meetings is required. Must be available during the core work hours as determined by your contract/location and must account for the required number of hours in a pay period to maintain Full-time status.

Telework:

  • Telework options for one day per week possible after all initial onboarding and team integration is completed (estimated 2-4 months); and subject to change by government direction.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, * Demonstrated 4+ years' experience developing solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, CoPilot Studio) using Dataverse and/or Dynamics 365 CRM.

  • Working knowledge of common architectural patterns and Agile.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for CI/CD and backlog/progress tracking.
  • Hands on experience with design and delivery of enterprise-level Microsoft Business Application solutions.
  • Skills:
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Business Applications (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, CoPilot Studio), Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • JavaScript and HTML
  • Experience with integration cloud technologies such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
  • Enthusiastic communicator with the ability to evangelize Microsoft technology across the organization spanning 1500+ people and multiple business units.
  • Ability to successfully upskill others.
  • DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred education and experience:

  • Previous experience in a technology consulting or internal delivery role preferable.
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, PL-600 or similar would be advantageous., While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Excellent listening skills are essential. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
