Job description
Dynamics' Production Technology group works to manufacture our engineered designs, using our engineered processes, and leveraging our engineered automation.
The Vice President of Production Technology will focus on equipment analysis, management, information gathering and continual improvement of equipment design. Our production capability works closely with our process engineering capability, design engineering resources, and production resources to conceptualize, develop, test, and implement the technologies and operations that enable our engineering designs to be manufactured in volume by our automation resources.
This engineer will be required to perform multiple Engineering rolls. They will be part of an operational team by managing our various Engineering resources across our various manufacturing facilities. This role is also responsible for operations of projects through our various manufacturing lines, implementing Engineered processes, implementing manufacturing automation, training, qualifying processes, initiating and integrating quality improvement initiatives into the supply chain to reduce BOM and vendor material costs, reduce supply chain risk and develop new material and material sources.
Key Performance Indicators
- Identifying deficiencies in production processes and developing improvements through Automation.
- Managing all phases of automation projects and equipment development.
· Manage team work schedules, training of team members, develop department standards and processes.
· Validate Dynamics process and product quality through testing, analysis and continuous improvement.
· Develop and initiate process improvement by presenting proposals, status updates and results to Dynamics CEO.
· Reduce material cost, material scrap and production down time by using SPC / DMAIC methodologies to take immediate and direct actions.
· Source venders for materials used in production and for equipment fabrication.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Quality control corrective actions?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education, at least 20 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or operation engineering or industrial engineering or mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Proficiency in relevant computer applications
· Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action development

· Ability to work with databases to efficiently store, access, categorize and manipulate large amounts of Data
· Excellent time and project management skills
· Ability to lead personnel
