Job description
The Implementation Deployment Manager ensures quality and timely deployment and execution of key operational activities to drive completion of business and strategic goals. This role will serve as the "boots on the ground" for ensuring proper planning and design as well as deploying transformational operational initiatives within our diagnostic laboratories, including but not limited to instrument installations, lab footprint changes, process and product implementations, and other lab-based initiatives requiring an on-site presence., * Carry out operational activities as needed by the project at various levels including equipment procurement requests, providing technical requirements, personnel training and management, etc.
- Analyze operational processes and provide input on new and/or updated needs for a project or other operational functions
- Test and validate new processes and procedures prior to implementation
- Implement operational requirements across functional teams including reference laboratories, customer service, client supplies, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Procurement, Finance, Medical, QA, Commercial/Marketing, etc. to communicate and deploy project requirements
- Monitor, document, and report on key operational metrics and notify management of potential risks
- Provide input to design related to lab footprint and other transformational operations initiatives to drive lab productivity, effectiveness and quality customer service.

Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. Some work with OSHA approved vented hoods in the laboratory with formalin fixed and fresh tissue specimens. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate may be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, database management, email, and the internet.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with at least 3 years in a laboratory operations leadership role
- Project management experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of laboratory functions including equipment, lab information systems, workflows, SOPs, quality assurance protocols, etc.
- Ability to operate lab equipment and run tests in a laboratory setting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment and build relationships
- Ability to be self-directed and motivated
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to accommodate significant travel as needed to meet the needs of global operational objectives, The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Fluency in the English language and the ability to communicate via the telephone and in person. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
Benefits & conditions
Chicago, IL: The Target Pay Range for this position is $84,000-$105,000 annually.

Fountain Valley, CA: The Target Pay Range for this position is $88,000 - $110,000 annually.

New York, NY: The Target Pay Range for this position is $92,000 - $115,000 annually.
