Job description
The Product Support Assistant role exists to support the operational efficiency, inventory coordination, logistics management, and product build activities for Omni Containment Systems. This position helps maintain proper PAR stock levels by reconciling inventory against anticipated sales pipeline reports provided by our distribution partners, including Omni Supply and Omni Containment Canada, in coordination with our administrative team. The position supports company goals through timely order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, proactive communication regarding delays or shortages, and oversight of product quality standards prior to shipment. Success in this role is demonstrated through organization, inventory accuracy, quality consistency, responsiveness, and effective support of the company's distribution and manufacturing processes. TOP RESPONSIBILITIES * Timely shipment of all current customer and partner orders.
- Timely management and oversight of PAR inventory levels for all products sold.
- Proper communication of delays related to manufacturing, inventory, or shipping.
- Oversight of quality control standards prior to shipment.
- Accurate accounting and reporting of inventory levels to administration and accounting teams.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES Review and process customer and distribution partner orders. Prepare and ship outgoing products. Communicate shipping exceptions or delays. Daily building and replenishment of stock inventory levels. Daily quality control review and oversight. Monitor inventory shortages and operational concerns. Communicate operational updates and support needs to team members and management. MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES Monthly inventory counts for all finished goods SKUs. Monthly rotating inventory counts of approximately one-third of remaining inventory components to ensure all inventory is validated at least once per quarter. Review manufacturing schedules and timelines to ensure production requirements are being met. QUARTERLY RESPONSIBILITIES Review sales trends and PAR levels with distribution partners. Evaluate inventory strategies and product build schedules. Coordinate discussions with vendors and manufacturing support partners as needed to ensure production timelines and inventory requirements are maintained. Requirements
Minimum one year of warehouse logistics experience preferred. Light manufacturing or assembly experience preferred. Strong organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
