Job description
Teradyne's Power Test Division is looking for a Software Engineer with a strong background in product security and DevOps to help secure and scale our next-generation semiconductor test systems. In this role, you'll work across the full software lifecycle designing security controls, improving build and release infrastructure, and embedding security best practices into highly complex, customer-facing products.
This is a hands-on role with real product impact, collaborating closely with engineering and security teams across the company.
- Own and drive product security initiatives, including threat modeling, security testing, and risk mitigation.
- Integrate security best practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Review designs and code with a strong focus on security, quality, and reliability.
- Design and implement secure build, test, and release pipelines.
- Develop and maintain automation tools for builds, testing, and documentation.
- Partner with other Teradyne security engineers to continuously improve product security maturity.
- Support high-quality software releases for customer delivery., This position will be on-site 4-5 days per week in our Deer Park, Illinois. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product security, DevOps, or software development.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and techniques such as static analysis, penetration testing, and software composition analysis.
- Strong development experience in C, C++, C#, and .NET development.
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a complex technical environment.
- Clear communicator with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

- Disability insurance, The base salary range for this role is $100,100 - $160,100. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
