Delivery Solutions Architect - U.S. Federal Sector

Due to federal contract requirements and client site access obligations, U.S. citizenship is required. As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA), you will collaborate with sales and field engineering teams to accelerate adoption and growth of the Databricks Platform in your customers, ensuring success by focusing on complex customers and guiding them to maximize value and ROI.

This is a hybrid technical and commercial role. You will drive growth in assigned customers and use cases by leading stakeholder relationships, orchestrating specialized teams, and creating plans for colleagues to build upon. Simultaneously, you will be the post-sale technical lead across all Databricks products, engaging with all organization levels.

You will report directly to a DSA Manager within the Field Engineering organization. The Impact You Will Have

• Engage with Solutions Architects to understand full use case demand plans for prioritized customers
• Lead technical account strategy and execution for the majority of Databricks use cases in strategic accounts
• Act as the accountable technical leader for specific use cases and customers across multiple selling teams, creating certainty and driving onboarding, enablement, success, go-live and healthy consumption
• Serve as the first contact for technical issues or questions related to production/go-live status of agreed use cases, often serving multiple complex organizations
• Leverage Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, and Support, escalating to expert-level technical experts when needed
• Create, own, and execute a point-of-view to accelerate key use cases into production, coordinating with Professional Services resources on delivery of engagement proposals
• Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs
• Develop an execution plan covering all activities of all customer-facing technical roles and teams:

• Main use cases moving from win to production
• Enablement/user growth plan
• Product adoption strategy to increase adoption of Databricks' Lakehouse vision
• Organic needs for current investment (eg cloud cost control, tuning & optimization)
• Executive and operational governance

• Provide internal and external updates-KPI reporting on usage and customer health, covering investment status, risks, product adoption, and use case progression-to your Technical GM

• U.S. citizenship
• 7+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery within Data and AI, contributing to technical debate and design choices
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role
• Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems
• Ability to attribute business value and outcomes to project deliverables
• Experience with technical program or project management, including account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability
• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives
• Experience conducting discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing delivery of complex programmes or projects
• Track record of overachievement against quota or similar objective targets
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to travel up to 30% when needed

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role are listed below and represent the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on factors such as job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, and location. The total compensation package may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range.

Local Pay Range: $180,000-$247,500 USD About Databricks
