Job description
As the Northeast Region Solutions Consultant, you will support specification and design activities within the building and construction industry. You will partner with mechanical engineers, building owners, and developers to design and specify building automation solutions, applying deep technical expertise to strengthen customer relationships and influence system design decisions. This role provides design and engineering support for building systems including HVAC, power monitoring, lighting, sustainability initiatives, and other integrated sub-systems that affect occupant comfort and energy performance. You will help position ALC as the building automation leader in the engineering community.
Leveraging your knowledge of industry technology, communication protocols, IP networking, and APIs, you will assist design teams in developing and specifying Automated Logic building automation solutions. In addition, you will support ALC factory-owned branches and authorized dealers through training and marketing initiatives that enable regional growth objectives.
Success in this role requires a strong commitment to consistent, accurate, timely, and professional customer service. Building trust with new customers and outperforming competitor service levels with existing customers are essential. Key measures of success include becoming a trusted technical advisor, strengthening product positioning, and driving increased market share across the region.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Professional Engineer license?, Do you have experience in System design?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's Degree with 7+ Years of HVAC Industry Experience or Master's Degree with 5+ Years of HVAC Industry Experience
- 3+ years of Building Automation and Controls Experience
- 3+ years design skills with engineering of BAS Systems.
- Traveling up to 60% locally is required., * Master's Degree; preferred discipline is Engineering
- Experience in a consulting engineering role.
- 5+ years of experience developing and engineering building automation systems.
- CEM, LEED AP, and WELL AP accreditation or PE certification.
- Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, other building systems, and IT networking/Integration - both in design and maintainability.
- Ability to work within a fast-moving engineering design team.
