The Microsoft Azure Cloud and Enterprise Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud and data solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to translate business needs into robust technical architectures. This role requires US Citizenship.
The preferred location for this role is Lafayette, LA, however this position can also be filled out of Belton, TX, Lebanon, VA or Knoxville TN (Hybrid role)
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Design and implement cloud and hybrid infrastructures, enterprise solution architectures, and data pipelines.
. Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
. Provide consultative guidance and technical leadership across projects.
Requirements
BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
. 5+ years as a Solution Architect and prior experience in technical roles (developer, systems analyst).
. Microsoft Azure Cloud Certification(s).
. Expertise in Azure cloud architecture, SQL/NoSQL databases, serverless and containerized services.
. Strong knowledge of Big Data, advanced analytics, and reporting/dashboarding.
. Experience with Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Science, and MLOps.
. Excellent communication and consultative skills.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
. Hands-on experience with structured and unstructured data management.
. Familiarity with machine learning and AI-driven analytics.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600.00 - $176,300.00.
