Job description
The Oracle HR System Configuration Analyst is a key partner in the design, optimization, and management of Human Capital systems and tools to enhance efficiency and deliver leading human capital services. This role focuses on gathering business requirements, configuring HR technology solutions with low/no-code platforms, and ensuring seamless alignment between system functionality and organizational needs. This position is responsible for managing the HC Technology platforms that provides associates access to information, resources, and self-service experiences. This work includes serving as a SME for low code/no code configuration changes to the platform, working with the HC business leaders to translate their strategic and operational needs to technological solutions and preserving content and data integrity.
- Partner with stakeholders across teams to gather and document business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Identify necessary functionality and system enhancements to deliver innovative solutions.
- Leverage platform analytics and reporting capabilities to generate actionable insights on user engagement, and process effectiveness-partnering with GPOs to refine as needed, build journeys, and ensure capabilities are in line with evolving business needs.
- Works closely with GPOs, HC leaders, Transformation and Optimization leader to identify capability needs and enhancements for the system.
- Engage with business areas to review business process and process mapping as it relates to system functionality.
- Create technical specifications and related design documents for new application enhancements. Communicate changes and updates to stakeholders and internal teams, as necessary.
- Configure HR technology platforms (e.g., Oracle, ServiceNow, etc.) to meet business needs using low/no-code tools. Design workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards to optimize HR operations. Test and validate system configurations to ensure accuracy and alignment with requirements.
- Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution. Provide expertise and guidance on system capabilities and best practices. Train HR teams and end-users on system functionalities and enhancements.
- Continuously evaluate processes to identify opportunities for efficiency. improvements and the elimination of manual tasks. Standardize, streamline, and coordinate business and system processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Partners with Usability & Accessibility team members to make sure all elements of Oracle HCM usable and accessible.
- Support HR technology implementations and upgrades by contributing to project planning, testing, and deployment. Document system configurations, updates, and processes for future reference.
Requirements
2+ years of experience and expertise in Oracle HCM, with experience in system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, including:
- Strong understanding of low/no-code tools for system configuration and workflow design.
- Ability to assess complex requirements, design logical solutions, and ensure systems meet business objectives.
- Deep understanding of HR processes such as talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and performance management.
- Proven ability to evaluate HC technology vendors, manage vendor relationships, handle contract negotiations, and oversee budgets effectively.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor HC technology projects from inception to completion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Commitment to staying informed on emerging HC technology trends and innovations, with a focus on applying best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with HC business partners, IT teams, and vendors.
