Job description
We are seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to lead an active healthcare automation project focused on improving patient appointment scheduling across multiple disconnected systems. This is a builder-focused role. The ideal candidate can define the technical architecture, guide implementation decisions, and contribute directly to development alongside the engineering team.
Project Overview
Our healthcare client is modernizing its appointment scheduling workflow. The system will automate the full lifecycle of appointment management, including appointment cancellations, waitlist matching, patient notifications, and downstream scheduling updates. When a cancellation occurs, the platform should identify suitable patients from a waitlist, match them to the open appointment based on appointment type and availability, notify the appropriate candidate, and coordinate the required scheduling actions across multiple systems without manual staff intervention., Lead solution architecture for a healthcare RPA/workflow automation initiative, Design integrations between disconnected scheduling, patient, and reporting systemsBuild and support automation workflows using Power Automate, Work with data and workflow logic involving AWS Databricks, Support reporting or dashboarding needs using TableauCollaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, Write production-quality code and contribute directly to implementation, Identify technical risks, integration gaps, and workflow edge cases, Ensure the solution is scalable, maintainable, and reliableRequired SkillsStrong experience as a Solution Architect, Hands-on background in RPA, workflow automation, or process automation, Experience with Power Automate, Experience with AWS Databricks, Experience with Tableau, Ability to design integrations across disparate systems, Strong development background, not just high-level architecture, Clear communication skills for working with
