Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA-QC Technician to support quality assurance and quality control activities within a laboratory and production environment. This role involves performing routine testing, maintaining accurate documentation, managing retained samples, and supporting overall product quality initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with laboratory equipment, data systems, and cross-functional teams., * Perform routine quality control testing and basic laboratory analysis following established procedures

  • Conduct simple analytical and sensory evaluations such as specific gravity (SG), refractive index (RI), and other standard quality checks
  • Assist with operation and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Manage laboratory retain samples, including organization, tracking, storage, and disposal processes
  • Record, review, and maintain accurate laboratory and quality documentation
  • Support investigations related to quality issues, deviations, or non-conforming materials
  • Assist with incoming raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and quality teams to help ensure compliance with company standards
  • Utilize computer systems and software to enter data, generate reports, and maintain records
  • Participate in continuous improvement and general housekeeping within the laboratory and work areas
  • Follow all safety, GMP, and company quality procedures at all times

Requirements

Do you have experience in Sensory evaluation?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma required; Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another science-related field preferred

  • Previous laboratory or QA/QC experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and instrumentation is a plus
  • Experience performing routine analytical or sensory testing preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with systems such as SAP, Batchmetrics/Labmetrics, or TraceGains is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory or production environment
