Microsoft Azure Engineer

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps practices to shape the future of our cloud environment., * Design and develop robust cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Rackspace, and OpenStack.

• Implement and manage virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper-V, Docker containers, and Kubernetes orchestration tools to optimize resource utilization.
• Automate deployment processes using scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to support application integration across diverse platforms.
• Conduct system hardening and security assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards; implement network security measures including VPNs and firewalls.
• Collaborate with development teams employing Agile methodologies to facilitate continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and other DevOps tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
• Support database management tasks involving MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization.
• Drive innovation by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) solutions with cloud architectures for real-time data processing.

Do you have experience in Public Cloud?, * Proven experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms including Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Rackspace or OpenStack.

• Strong background in virtualization technologies such as VMware, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration tools.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), along with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Deep understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices architecture, SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), and cloud development best practices.
• Familiarity with operating systems including Windows and Linux/Unix environments; knowledge of system hardening techniques is essential.
• Experience working within Agile development cycles (SDLC) utilizing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Knowledge of web services protocols such as RESTful API design and implementation; experience with API management is a plus.
• Strong understanding of database systems including SQL (T-SQL), NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra; proficiency in database schema design is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex IT infrastructure issues related to virtualization, networking (VPNs), application deployment or system security.
