Requirements
We are looking for a passionate Technology professional who has experience in working with Google Cloud Platform and is passionate about applying latest technologies to solve business problems. An ideal candidate would have 15+ years of experience 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering & Cloud Native technologies (including Google Cloud Platforms) that cover the big data, analytics and AI/ML domain. Minimum 2 years is essential with experience using GCP Roles and Responsibilities
- Experienced in migration projects - on-Prem to Cloud or Cloud to Cloud.
- Implementation of Data Mesh, Data Products.
- Experience in Big Query, Cloud Composer, Data Flow, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Dataproc, GCP IaaS Creating, deploying, configuring and scaling applications on GCP serverless infrastructure.
- Knowledge and working experience in - Data Engineering, Data Management and Data Governance
- Experience of working in multiple End to End Data Engineering and or Analytics projects
- Knowledge of general programming languages and frameworks, in particular python and/or Java
- General technology best practices and development of lifecycles such as agile and CI/CD.
- Technical architecture leadership and direction on projects resulting in secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable platforms.
- Architecture skills that enable the creation of future-proof, complex global solutions using GCP services.
- Implementation and/or creation of foundational architectures, event-driven and event streaming, and those that enable online machine learning systems.
- Any experience and exposure with Agentic AI will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, being able to adapt according to target audience.
Benefits & conditions
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $170,000 to $190,000 Yearly. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.
As a Full time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plan in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company.
