Job description
A well-regarded Odoo implementation partner is expanding its application managed services (AMS) practice and is looking for an experienced Odoo Support / AMS Analyst to join its Manchester hub. You will sit at the heart of the post go-live customer relationship - keeping a varied portfolio of mid-market Odoo deployments stable, evolving and continuously improving. This is a hybrid position with a strong, collaborative on-site culture and the flexibility to focus on deep technical work from home when needed., You will own incoming support tickets across multiple Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, CRM, Project, HR), triaging, reproducing and resolving issues against agreed SLAs. Day-to-day you will configure new business processes, advise customers on best-practice usage, troubleshoot data and integration issues, debug Python and XML-RPC behaviour, run SQL queries against PostgreSQL, manage minor enhancements and upgrade impact assessments, and partner with developers on root-cause analysis. You will also document recurring patterns into reusable knowledge-base articles and contribute to continuous improvement of the AMS service.
Requirements
Hands-on Odoo experience in a support, functional consulting or AMS environment is essential - whether that's Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or self-hosted Community / Enterprise. Strong functional knowledge of at least three core modules, comfort reading Python and Odoo XML, working SQL / PostgreSQL skills, and confident ticket-management experience (Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk or similar) will all set you apart. ITIL awareness, a customer-first communication style, the curiosity to dig into edge cases and the discipline to document them are equally important. Exposure to integrations (REST, XML-RPC, EDI) and multi-company / multi-currency environments is a strong plus.
Benefits & conditions
A genuinely flexible hybrid pattern, clear progression into senior consultant or technical lead routes, an Odoo training and certification budget, private healthcare, enhanced pension, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and a salary band that recognises the depth of Odoo expertise being asked for. You will join a team that takes pride in long-term customer outcomes rather than ticket-bash metrics.
