Job description
- Supporting the creation and delivery of hardware test plans, validating display interfaces and high-speed connections such as LVDS, Ethernet and USB
- Analysing hardware changes from suppliers, carrying out tolerance, thermal and quality assessments to ensure robust performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges across hardware, software and vehicle systems
- Creating and maintaining test environments, rigs and bench setups to enable accurate and efficient validation
- Investigating faults and warranty issues, gathering data and applying structured problem-solving techniques to improve future performance
Requirements
Along with a growth mindset and a passion for doing things differently, there are several skills you'll need to succeed here, including:
- Understanding of electronics design, hardware testing or embedded systems, gained through study, internships or industry experience
- Knowledge of automotive network protocols such as CAN, Ethernet or LVDS
- Experience using diagnostic and test tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters or CAN-based software
- Awareness of infotainment or connected technologies including displays, connectivity modules or embedded systems
- Ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively and take ownership of your work
