Job Title: Intersystem Junior DevOps Engineer Location: Corsham (Occasional Travel required) Duration: September 2026 Pay Rate: £276 per day all inc. (PAYE through FCSA Umbrella)

Job Description The role is for a Junior InterSystems developer to work within an Application Management team that is led and managed by Client. The objectives and outputs from the role include the following: The role is to support InterSystems HealthShare (HFS) components including the EMPI (enterprise master patient index), HPD (healthcare provider directory), Portal and Data Quality reports, and any other related Cortisone components added during this period.

The main objectives for the role are; BAU support, including; o Assist with delivery of technical solutions to incidents, problems and changes o Monitor certificates and ensure renewals are acquired and installed avoiding expiry o Monitor licensing and ensure renewals are acquired and installed avoiding expiry o Maintain and adhere to standard operating procedures to perform periodic checks that all systems and interfaces under support are operating correctly, primarily for production, but also for the development and test environments as applicable. o Work closely with the infrastructure services team to ensure server and network infrastructure builds and changes are aligned with and support the application management plans. o Carry out Intersystems product updates/upgrades in line with support and life cycle management plans.

A Security Advisories o Risk assess impact and severity o Address high priority advisories within SLA Continuous Improvement, including; o VSC development, RBAC refinement, Cost reduction, application monitoring enhancements, version control refinement (current vs future path) Provide input and support into the ITHC process associated with new major application releases, including remediation activity Regularly attend Service reviews, CAB and related LFE sessions. Ensure configuration management and environment documentation is kept up to date. Manage the application deployment process (change requests and code deployment), into test, and pre-production environments then subsequently into the production environment. Support application upgrade process Deliver small application changes via front-door requests. Liaise with 3rd Parties and Suppliers where necessary for the relevant components under the team's control. Provide cover for lead Intersystems Engineer when they are absent o Deputise when they are on leave, sickness cover etc Key Strengths: Analytical/problem solving skills. Team working, personal networking skills. Able to influence even when not in a position of authority. Adaptable, self-motivated and with an ability to quickly understand technical concepts. Able to identify and develop software improvements. Work under pressure while remaining decisive. Able to communicate all needs, instructions and decisions clearly.

Previous experience and skill set: Demonstrable knowledge and preferably certification in ITIL processes. Experience of service management within a large organisation Experience of development in InterSystems HealthShare and HealthConnect with a strong understanding of EMPI, HPD, Integration engine and IRIS. Experience of development with Azure, Microsoft .Net, Ansible, Terraform Experience of application management within Azure environments. Ability to work in an Agile way as part of an Agile team. Experience of developing and managing monitoring and alerting tools. Experience of Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
