Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Certified Cadence Analyst to support a Guided Scheduling initiative within a large healthcare system. This resource will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing scheduling workflows to improve patient access-specifically within ambulatory (physician office) environments. This role requires deep expertise in:
Guided Scheduling workflows Decision Tree configuration Referral-to-appointment workflows
The ideal candidate will partner closely with operational stakeholders, access teams, and IT leadership to create scalable, patient-friendly scheduling solutions that enhance efficiency and improve the overall patient experience.
Requirements
Epic Cadence Certification (required) 3-5+ years of Epic Cadence build experience (hands-on configuration, not just support) Proven experience with: Guided Scheduling (critical), Decision Tree build and optimization, Referral workflows (referrals * scheduling) Strong experience supporting ambulatory / physician office scheduling workflows Deep understanding of: Scheduling rules, Access models, Template management Ability to translate operational requirements into scalable Epic solutions Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
