Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative UX Engineer with strong experience in the Capital Markets segment of the BFS domain. This role blends user experience design with front-end engineering to create intuitive, high-performance trading and financial analytics platforms. You will work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade applications that meet complex financial workflows and compliance requirements.
- Design and develop high-quality user interfaces for capital market platforms including trading systems, order management, and portfolio analytics.
- Translate complex financial requirements into elegant, usable digital interfaces.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive, pixel-perfect user experiences.
- Build interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing with internal stakeholders and end users (e.g., traders, analysts).
- Work closely with backend engineers and financial SMEs to ensure seamless integration with APIs and real-time data feeds.
- Ensure design consistency, accessibility, and performance across web platforms.
- Maintain and evolve design systems tailored for financial products and dashboards.
- Stay up to date with trends in capital markets and front-end technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in UX engineering or front-end development roles.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
- Hands-on experience in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of capital markets (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives, trading workflows, compliance).
- Ability to work with real-time data visualizations, market tickers, charts, and financial dashboards.
- Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Good to have skills:
- Experience working in capital market platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, Eikon, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank).
- Exposure to Agile development practices and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with API integration (RESTful, WebSockets) and real-time data rendering
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range*: $ 76,000 - 89,500 $ Per Year *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
