• Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
• Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
• Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
• Executes and documents software research and development projects
• Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations
• Troubleshoots software issues
• Works under general direction

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Pre-Start)
• 2+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
• 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming language
• 2+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems, * Level 2/Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years of related, relevant experience
• Level 3/Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience
• Level 4/Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 9+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 13+ years of directly related work experience OR 17+ years of related, relevant experience
• Agile/SAFe development experience
• Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Desirable programming languages include: Ada, C, C++, Python
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
• Experience developing Embedded Real Time software
• Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
