Job description
Systems team within the Location group is looking for an experienced Systems/DSP engineer at the level of Staff/Senior Staff. The candidate will work as part of the Location team responsible for receiver model development, receiver design, fixed point design, and performance analysis of cutting-edge location IP that powers some of the top brands in mobile and wearable markets.
Our ideal candidate would be an expert in architecting and modeling wireless baseband receivers for GNSS systems with a good grasp of area-performance-power tradeoffs and hardware-software tradeoffs, with experience collaborating closely with hardware design, design verification, RF systems, firmware, and driver teams., * Develop key location technologies using GNSS signals such as GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, Beidou, etc.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain C/C++ receiver model for RTL bit and cycle accurate verification and receiver algorithm development
- Design advanced signal processing algorithms, front-end, and baseband architectures for location receivers.
- Work with large receiver end-to-end simulation models to demonstrate/benchmark system performance, verify functional behavior, and validate hardware design.
- Collaborate closely with DV, RTL, and SW/FW engineers to model and verify receiver ASIC implementation
- Design verification on FPGA, bring up ASIC and board, and hands-on lab testing and debugging
- Perform detailed data analysis of product logs for performance characterization and issue resolution efforts.
- Collaborate effectively with teams within and outside the organization for realizing the best product outcomes
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports on algorithms, software and test results.
