Linux Administrator

• Administer and support Linux (RedHat) and Windows Server environments.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware) across ~500 virtual machines and ~60 servers.
• Maintain and support storage technologies and related infrastructure.
• Perform system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Maintain hardware environments, primarily Dell server infrastructure.
• Support identity and access systems (Active Directory, Entra ID) and M365.
• Administer and support cloud services in Azure or AWS (as applicable).
• Assist with security responsibilities including SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, and compliance tasks.
• Create and maintain scripts (preferably from scratch) to automate tasks and improve system reliability.
• Produce and maintain documentation for processes, standards, system configurations, and inventory.
• Monitor uptime and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Participate in incident response, including root cause analysis and on call rotation.
• Build and deploy software packages and support enterprise application environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades.

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration (RedHat preferred).
• High proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware).
• Experience with storage administration in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022.
• Experience in medium-sized enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, hardware, and virtual infrastructure.
• Ability to manage both on prem and hybrid environments (90-95% on prem today).
• Ability to write and maintain custom scripts., * Kubernetes experience.
• RedHat certifications (RHCSA/RHCE).
• Experience administering cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Background in DevOps or infrastructure automation., * Operates independently and takes ownership of systems and tasks.
• Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
• Able to communicate clearly with technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable supporting high availability environments.
