Job description
Business Development & Sales
- Drive sales and business development activities within the SAP IS-U (Utilities) space
- Identify and develop new opportunities within existing and new clients
- Support and lead pre-sales activities, including solution positioning, proposals, and client presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the SAP IS-U network (clients, partners, SAP ecosystem)
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead the design and architecture of SAP IS-U solutions, ensuring alignment with client business requirements
- Provide guidance on best practices, industry standards, and SAP roadmap (S/4HANA Utilities, cloud, etc.)
- Translate business needs into scalable and sustainable SAP IS-U solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrations and end-to-end solution design
Project Delivery & Leadership
- Act as Project Manager or Solution Architect on SAP IS-U implementations and transformation programs
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including functional and technical consultants
- Ensure delivery excellence across scope, timeline, quality, and budget
- Manage client expectations and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle
Stakeholder & Network Management
- Actively network within the SAP IS-U community, including customers, partners, and SAP representatives
- Build long-term client relationships and support account growth
- Collaborate with internal leadership on strategy, delivery, and market positioning
Requirements
We are seeking a motivated SAP IS-U Manager to help us build our SAP Utilities practice. This role is ideal for a senior SAP IS-U professional who enjoys combining sales, delivery, and solution leadership, and who is motivated to grow a strong presence within the utilities market., * 8-15+ years of experience in SAP IS-U / Utilities
- Strong understanding of utilities business processes (billing, metering, customer service, etc.)
- Proven track record in SAP IS-U implementations, including project management or solution architecture roles
- Existing network in the SAP Utilities ecosystem in the US required
- Experience in sales, pre-sales, or business development within SAP or consulting environments
- Experience with S/4HANA Utilities and/or cloud solutions preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in both strategic and hands-on roles
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong client-facing and consulting mindset
