Job description
The IT Depot Tech plays a crucial role in maintaining productivity for client employees by delivering on-site support for hardware, software, applications, installations, and mobile devices.
The opportunity:

Manage new hire hardware orders and tasks to ensure systems are ready for employees on their first day.

Collect and inventory all systems returned to the depot, typically via the Tech Café or through shipping labels.

Coordinate with employees for smooth handover or return of IT assets.

Work closely with the Tech Café team to ensure timely wiping of IT assets and their availability for deployment with the latest operating system installed.

Prepare systems that are out of the four-year life cycle for donation.

Requirements

2+ years in a customer-facing deskside support, end-user computing, or IT Depot role.

Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and strong engagement with end-users.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if needed (though not expected).

Experience with MAC, Microsoft OS, and Microsoft Office applications.

Problem-solving experience in a support-oriented environment.

Exceptional soft skills and troubleshooting abilities.

$48,000 - $72,000 a year

UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below., Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
