Job description

  • Provide technical support for employees (Tier 1-2), responding to tickets related to hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Deploy and support Windows endpoints using Autopilot, Intune, and configuration profiles.
  • Assist in optimizing IT operations by improving internal automation methods using PowerShell and other tools.
  • Assist in developing standard images, application deployment methods, and endpoint configuration baselines.
  • Support user provisioning/deprovisioning in Entra ID and other business systems.
  • Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and known solutions in the company's knowledge base.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of IT hardware and software assets.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on routine system updates, patching, and small-scale projects.

Requirements

Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team, contributing to ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have a strong technical background, have excellent critical thinking skills, and will play a pivotal role in managing the IT team, overseeing IT projects, and ensuring cybersecurity., * 2-5 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT support role.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common hardware/software issues.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and device imaging.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and peripheral device setup.
  • Understanding of IT security principles, including password policies and phishing awareness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document procedures and contribute to knowledge-sharing.
  • Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional IT environment.
  • Familiarity with endpoint compliance and device management concepts.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain the CompTIA Security+ CE certification.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Must be physically capable of walking between office and production areas and attending events or meetings off-site as needed.

It requires the use of standard office equipment and systems. This role involves cross-departmental collaboration and both independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or off-hour work as business needs arise.
