Job description
Are you ready to play a key role in driving strategic growth and operational excellence within a leading manufacturing environment? As the Capital Projects Coordinator for ME North America, you will oversee and propel vital business activities-from managing capital investments to spearheading new project feasibility studies that shape the future of our organization.
What You'll Own:
- Lead the planning and execution of annual capital investment budgets, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
- Monitor and transparently report on the progress and impact of capital projects, providing clear insights to senior leadership.
- Develop comprehensive quarterly investment reports by coordinating financial data across multiple North American sites.
- Support critical make-or-buy decisions for new model development by analyzing quality, delivery, cost, and capacity impacts.
- Manage all facets of project activities for new and existing programs-timelines, budgets, design, team collaboration, vendor coordination, and more.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineers to establish and promote best-practice standards and solutions across the organization.
- Lead complex feasibility studies, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver financial analyses, decision matrices, and executive summaries that guide strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present formal reports that influence key business decisions.
- Analyze departmental operations including workload, capacity, and resource allocation to optimize performance.
- Oversee departmental budgets and support manufacturing engineering policies.
- Collaborate with your team, stepping in to assist when capacity challenges arise.
- Drive continuous improvement by creating, implementing, and maintaining company standards within the KDoCS process.
- Take on special projects and related tasks that support our mission and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in managing complexity, leadership, supervision, manufacturing methods, quality control, and technical presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with AutoCAD Inventor, LX, Power BI, Visio, and SharePoint.
- 5+ years in manufacturing roles.
- Master's degree in a Business-related field.
- Fluency in Japanese.
Work Environment:
- Thrive in dynamic environments-from extreme heat to cold, and sometimes loud settings. Comfortable traveling between multiple facilities. Ability to stand for long periods and walk the shop floor. Comfortable with desk work and using hands/fingers for detailed tasks. Ability to reach, and operate power and handheld tools safely.
