Java Automation Engineer

Agile Defense is looking for a Java Automation Engineer or Java Automation Developer to join a large scale national security program responsible for protecting US transportation infrastructure. The program is focused on making risk assessments of individuals attempting to access US transportation infrastructure. There is a demanding response time, availability, and transaction requirement for the program. The program uses Agile Development and the Java Engineer/Developer will be a member of an agile team., * Happy - Be Infectious. Required Certifications

• Agile Certification Preferred

Education, Background, and Years of Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a formal degree., * 2+ years of java development experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience/ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

• Experience with Java/JEE

• Experience with Agile Development

• Ability to independently manage tasks and deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with any of the following preferred: JMS, XML, Angular, SQL

• Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program with high availability requirements
