Pro Bono: This position is tailored for a professional who wants to give back by contributing engineering expertise. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Claude AI coding, Java software design, and development. He/she will be responsible for quick fixes, improving existing server-side components, or building new features for 's website. Please do not apply unless you use Claude AI to help with coding. We are excited to have you join our global team and help serve in philanthropy., * Collaborate with front-end developers/senior management to deliver quality code
- Develop server-side Java technologies for existing & new application components
- Scoping, developing, and implementing new user features and new web components
- Increase operational efficiency & system visibility, developing tracking analysis features
- Provide updates on security
- Provide recommendations on coding standards and guidelines
- Communicate with the Lead Engineer on your implementation performance
Requirements
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Claude Ai coding experience
- 4+ years of application development experience using JAVA, MySQL, React
- Experience with client-side web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS
- Familiarity with source controls such as SVN and CVS
- Knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented modeling (e.g., UML)
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong debugging skills and principles
- Familiarity with GitHub for CI/CD and bug tracking systems such as Jira

Duration and Location
- The position is 5-20 hours per month.
