Job description
The Director of Integrations plays a critical role in partnering with the Head of Integrations to successfully execute Cresset's growth strategy across M&A and lift-outs. This role serves as the primary operator responsible for translating integration strategy into execution, ensuring seamless transitions of clients, systems, data, processes, and people into the firm. Working closely with internal stakeholders and incoming teams, this individual will deliver a consistent, high-quality advisor and client experience while helping to build and scale Cresset's integration capabilities, contributing to the firm's continued growth., Integration Execution & Delivery
- Lead day-to-day execution of integration plans across M&A and lift-outs
- Translate strategic integration plans into detailed workstreams, timelines, and deliverables
- Serve as the primary operator ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are actively managed
- Identify and resolve issues early, escalating when appropriate
Deal Lifecycle Participation
- Participate in due diligence to identify key risks, operating models, and integration considerations
- Support late-stage conversations by clearly articulating the integration approach and advisor experience
- Lead readiness planning, including pre-close checklists, break readiness, and contingency planning
Advisor & Client Transition
- Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming teams
- Ensure a smooth transition experience while maintaining Cresset standards
- Reduce friction for advisors and clients through proactive problem-solving and communication
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Drive coordination across operations, compliance, technology, reporting, finance, HR, and client service
- Establish clear ownership and accountability across all integration workstreams
- Lead regular integration meetings / discussions and working sessions to track progress and resolve blockers
Systems & Data Integration
- Oversee integration of technology tools (ex. Salesforce, Addepar, custodian platforms, and financial planning)
- Coordinate data migration, validation, and reconciliation
- Identify and resolve system gaps, inconsistencies, and reporting issues
Investment & Platform Integration

Support review and mapping of portfolios, securities, and alternative assets

Coordinate platform approvals and transitions with investment and operations teams

Address custodial setup, pricing discrepancies, and account structure issues
Process & Playbook Development
- Develop and refine integration playbooks and best practices
- Document lessons learned and continuously improve workflows
- Support scaling the integration function as deal volume grows
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder relationship building?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * A proven operator who brings structure, discipline, and execution rigor to complex integrations
- A systems thinker who can identify patterns, surface insights, and help evolve integration strategy over time
- A collaborative partner who can translate strategic vision into clear, actionable plans
- A leader who is comfortable operating without direct authority and influencing across the organization, * Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certifications a plus
- 7-10+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or integration-focused roles
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives and fluency with project management tools (e.g., Asana)
- An understanding of custodial platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing), advisor technology ecosystems (e.g., Addepar, E-Money, MSCI Wealth, Salesforce), and investment portfolio structures
- Exceptional communication, organizational, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Starting base salary is $160,000 - $180,000. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses/certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location.
