Job description
Assist in the development of short- and long-range plans for the integration of technology into instructional programs. Facilitate the effective use of devices in instructional programs. Support the use of both hardware and software to achieve campus goals. Implement and coordinate the campus's technology staff development and training program., * Install and upgrade computers and peripherals.
- Install network cabling and network peripherals.
- Relocate computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed.
- Install and configure software as needed.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Safety
- Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing and carrying.
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.
Technical Support
- Provide friendly and professional technology assistance for both staff and students.
- Manage work orders efficiently to minimize response times to tickets.
- Assist with the purchase, distribution, maintenance, and installation of hardware, software, and other technological equipment and materials within instructional programs.
Technology Team
- Work cooperatively with other campus technology specialists as well as district technology personnel to troubleshoot problems and to deploy solutions.
- Attend monthly technology team meetings to share information and to learn about new technologies and methods.
Other
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.

Requirements
