Job description
Create, test, and debug QlikView/Sense analytics dashboards and Nprinting Reports. Create custom extensions in Qlik Sense, including JavaScript and D3, maintain data loads and QlikView/Sense dashboards and reports for efficient performance and timely data updates. Work closely with Business Intelligence (BI) architects to gather and document required BI system requirements. Document BI report requirements and technical specifications with input/output technical design. Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used for consistent reporting and metadata enhancements. Extract, transform and load data into QlikView/Sense tools (requires data modeling across multiple data sources). Utilize Qlik's in-memory data discovery architecture and advocate and communicate adherence to Qlik's best practices and standards. Provide technical support as required to ensure the data availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments for both external and internal users. Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members as needed.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any) or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with all of the following: Developing BI solutions using QlikView and Qlik Sense; Working in Data Warehouse environments, reporting on dimensions/hierarchies with experience in Star Schema/Snowflake modeling and Fact & Dimensions tables; Developing complex Qlik data models; Using set analysis and set expressions and creating data load scripts in data load editor to develop in Qlik Sense, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, VB, and JSON; Utilizing scripting language to meet complex business requirements; Utilizing QlikView Publisher capabilities; Using SQL RDBMS (Oracle and SQL Server), data warehouse, and Hadoop/big data systems and performance tuning; Using ETL tools including SSIS, Informatica, and Snaplogic.
