Job description
We are seeking a Workday HCM and Payroll Configuration Analyst to support Workday configuration, testing and production support for multi-country HCM and payroll. You will partner with the HR Technology Payroll COE leader to develop and execute client-specific roadmaps for new functionality and upgrades, maintain day-to-day payroll technical operations, and deliver reporting, analytics, documentation and training that keep payroll accurate and compliant.
What you'll do:
- Manage day-to-day payroll technical support including case triage, table maintenance, configuration updates and change control.
- Plan, configure and test Workday HCM and Payroll functionality in coordination with the HR Technology payroll COE and Workday subject matter experts.
- Lead development and maintenance of reports using Workday Report Writer to meet client reporting and analytics needs.
- Build and maintain EIBs, integrations, related objects/fields and security profiles; audit and remediate existing objects and security configurations.
- Support testing and deployment activities, ensuring thorough unit, SIT and regression testing prior to production promotion.
- Investigate and perform root cause analysis for payroll issues and implement preventative measures to reduce recurrences.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce error rates through automation and standardization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and provide end-user support during implementation and post go-live., * This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Travel
- Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in Workday Payroll configuration and setup; experience with U.S. and U.K. payroll models preferred.
- 3+ years' experience configuring, testing and deploying Workday HCM (experience with Workday Absence and Time Tracking preferred).
- 3+ years' experience developing Workday reports, EIBs/integrations, and managing security profiles.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot issues across Workday, third-party service providers and internal partners.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Sites) and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience that would be great to have:
- 2+ years experience consulting or client-facing Workday implementation experience.
- Advanced experience with Workday integrations, EIB development and security configuration.
- Prior support for multi-country payroll implementations and integration with payroll service providers.
- Experience with change control governance, technical documentation standards and release management.
- Experience developing and delivering end-user training and adoption materials for Workday deployments.
