Job description
The Operations Assistant is responsible for the general office support function for the branch. This includes customer contact, order taking, dispatching, work orders, invoicing and data entry into our computer system while assisting the Branch Manager in growing the business. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and the ability to manage clients and temporary employees is a must!, * Open the office in the morning and close the branch location as needed. AS EARLY AS A 5:30-6AM START TIME.
- Develop a rapport with the temporary employees, which will enable keeping order and facilitate smooth dispatching.
- Prepare work tickets for dispatching, enter the respective information in the computer system and pay the temporary employees at the end of the day.
- Maintain records and files as required.
- Recruit temporary workers.
- Assist in increasing sales, developing both new and existing customers and providing all aspects of customer service.
- Able to implement procedures for handling emergency situations when they occur.
- Able to implement policies and procedures and coordinate compliance with all federal, state and local government laws in order to run the Branch Office in the absence of the Branch Manager.
Requirements
- Must have a good personality to interact with the temporary staff and control the flow of work.
- Must have the ability to learn new tasks quickly.
- Must have the ability to follow instructions.
- Computer skills and ability to work with numbers INCLUDING A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS INCLUDING WORD, EXCEL AND OUTLOOK.
- Must have good communicative skills, both written and oral.
- Minimum of two years general office experience.
- Flexible and adaptable as priorities of position change.
Successful candidate will be required to have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and must submit to MVR. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are also required. We are an equal opportunity employer., * Staffing/Recruiting: 2 years (Preferred)

$18++ per hour and up based on experience (including the opportunity to make recruiting commissions) for a successful candidate at a great company looking for growth and responsibility.
