Job description

This role will support HIE participants and their electronic health record (EHR) vendors on implementing, improving, and maintaining integrations. This role will also be responsible for supporting and monitoring the technical infrastructure of the Health Information Exchange Authority and associated SAS environments. This role is essential in maintaining the reliability, performance, and accuracy of systems supporting data exchange services, including the provider clinical portal. This position focuses on managing system changes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting data analytics through the development and execution of complex queries and reports., *Maintain and monitor the technical infrastructure for HIE and SAS platforms, ensuring high availability and performance *Ensure stability and performance of data exchange systems and applications *Manage change orders, system updates, and bug fixes for clinical portal and other data exchange services *Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for testing and deployments of changes. *Support technical analysis efforts, bringing detailed knowledge of EHR systems and data integration methodologies *Work closely with cross-functional teams including participants, EHR vendors, data architects, developers, analysts, and clinical stakeholders to ensure data quality and system reliability

Requirements

*Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders *Experience with SQL, SAS, and InterSystems HealthShare *The ability to lead technical analyses across complex electronic health record (EHR) integrations *Subject matter expert (SME) level of knowledge working with clinical data, EHRs, HL7 v2, and C-CDA messages *Mature knowledge of health information exchange data standards and formats, including knowledge of EHRs' data architecture *Experience with analyzing and documenting clinical processes and requirement specifications for health data exchange *Understanding of general IT architecture principles, technical designs and specification documents *Knowledge of HIPAA and health care regulatory compliance as they relate to EHR systems and Health Information Exchange (HIE) *Experience developing training materials or end user reports with regard to clinical data and clinical systems workflows

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.50 - $52.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
