We're partnering with a highly respected organization seeking a Linux-focused Network Engineer who thrives in real production environments - not a ticket queue. This is a high-impact, highly visible role where you'll own issues end-to-end and work directly with engineering teams.
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux-based platforms
- Analyze packet captures (Wireshark), logs, and SIP signaling
- Support VoIP systems and resolve real-time production issues
- Apply patches, upgrades, and system updates
- Collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to MOPs
Requirements
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Sponsorship is not available.
Do you have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux environments (Red Hat or similar)? Strong background in VoIP and deep knowledge of SIP? Comfortable analyzing Wireshark traces in live production?, * 5+ years of Linux experience (Red Hat preferred)
- Strong VoIP + SIP expertise
- Solid networking fundamentals
- Experience troubleshooting in live production environments
- Confidence working in CLI and analyzing logs/traces
Nice to Have:
- Scripting (Bash, Python)
- VMware, Cisco IOS, or Diameter exposure
